The new deadline to submit bids will be Monday, September 21st. We’ll be publishing a revised bid invitation and bid specification package beginning September 8th. The revised bid package will include answers to all questions submitted to date.

NJDCA 2026 SSP – Fire Alarm Bid Specifications Rev. 9.8.26
Invitation to Bid:
The Gateway Family YMCA is accepting electronic bids for replacing the fire alarm system and related detection devices at its Elizabeth Branch emergency shelter, located at 135 Madison Ave., Elizabeth, NJ 07201. The anticipated project start date is January 2027.
This solicitation replaces the previously published August 2026 solicitation for this project. Revised bid specifications will be available for download beginning September 8, 2026, at www.tgfymca.org/bid. Contractors are encouraged to schedule a site visit via bids@tgfymca.org to review the scope of work prior to submitting a bid.
This project is funded through the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA). All bidders must comply with applicable New Jersey regulations. WBE, MBE, and Section 3 businesses are strongly encouraged to submit bids.
Electronic bids must be submitted to bids@tgfymca.org no later than Monday, September 21, 2026, with the subject line “NJDCA 2026 SSP – Fire Alarm System Bid.” All bids received will be submitted to NJDCA for review, and contract awards are subject to NJDCA approval.
